The Extech EX830 offers multiple functions so service technicians can carry only one meter into the field instead of several. The EX830 will measure both AC and DC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance, capacitance, diode, and continuity. Its wide-opening, 1-7/10-inch circular jaw fits around conductors up to 750 MCM, or two 500 MCM. This Extech also features DC Zero, as well as min/max, data, and peak hold of current surges during motor startup and other transience that "freezes" data in the display.
